I bring to my classes and lessons the same commitment I bring to my own animals - use positive reinforcement first, and to always look for better ways to teach. If there's a skill that doesn't work for a team, then I will either find a way to make it work, or else find a new skill that will make that team successful. Success is a reward in itself! CLASSES AVAILABLE I am currently offering bird and dog training classes and will do in home consultations.  My main focus is on teaching our animals how to live successfully with us in our homes.  Please contact me for more information.	Since I believe in positive reinforcement, in my classes, we use food, toys, praise - anything the animal wants - to reward behavior that we want the dog to do. I do not use, nor will I allow, e-collars, choke chains, throw chains or most other punishment devices. They are not appropriate for learning new skills. I work hard to make the learning atmosphere a safe one, for both human and animal.
